The origin of the evil eye dates back to Before Christ. Blue evil eye beads have been used by different communities at different times. This symbol, which has been for a very long time with us, aims to protect us from cursed gaze. In my work, I combined the power of evil eye with the story that Medusa, who is thought to have also lived in Turkey, turned the people who looked after her into stone.
