The tracker set out early, eager to succeed, With knowledge of the deer's tracks, he had all he'd need, He followed through the forest, with focus on his task, Yet the signs were misleading, a dangerous fate to unmask. He saw the marks of paws and claws, but never did he dread, For in his mind, he saw the deer, and not the beast ahead, And so he followed blindly, until it was too late, For the bear had found him, and sealed the tracker's fate.
