In order to combat the Creeperz sinister replication tactics Reaperz all throughout the Multiverse joined forces to take them down once and for all. INSPIRATION: Creeper was the first computer worm written by Bob Thomas in 1971 while Reaper was the first antivirus software specifically designed to eliminate it. In its original iteration Creeper was designed to move between DEC PDP-10 mainframe computers running the TENEX operating system using the ARPANET. It was later enhanced to copy itself between computers rather than simply moving. This self-replicating version of Creeper is generally accepted to be the very first computer worm.
