Ancestral Yapes are extremely social and tribalistic species of Yape, infamous for the curses they disperse to those who set foot on their ancestral land. Traditionally the females use stealthier tactics and style themselves to blend into the shadows to protect against other Yape clans. From hexes to living effigies, their harmony with their surroundings, agility, and intelligence seldomly leave survivors after encounters. Those that do make it out alive often die within weeks, which is thought to be their curses taking their hold on the trespassers.
