The whelps of the great Pale Basilisk species is peaceful and inspiring and possesses the ability to slow down time at will that it uses to defend others. With a lifespan of a millennia, generations go by unaware that there are not multiple Pale Basilisks, as only one can be alive at any given time. At the end of their life cycle, the Pale Basilisk mates with the only living Soot Basilisk and each one lays its respective species eggs. Dying the moment the eggs are laid, the first born from the nest eats the remainder of the eggs. It is believed the soul waits nearby until the first egg hatches so it can take over the body to live again.
