Connected to all other Desert Kuoth through ever-present pheromones, they have gained the ability to use shadows to travel from one to another being able to quickly swarm and overwhelm potential meals. Once together they surround and pile on top of their prey while the females create a dense heat from their appendages that the males use vibrations from an internal bladder to radiate the heat deeper into the flesh until they are overheated and suffer from heat stroke. Surprisingly heavy for their size, they can weigh up to 2kg as adults.
