If born in a safe enough place, Erglass can remain motionless for life. They hide in between fallen trees and foliage, using its sticky mucus-lined ears to attract and catch insects. Their hearing is extraordinary enough to be able to change the scent of its ear mucus to attract certain kinds of bugs to eat. Once the insects land on its ears, the mucus takes hold and they slide into the ear canals to be digested.
