The females being characterized by their lone top tooth, Snaggletooth Peelos sing at specific frequencies that instantly lull mammals into a deep sleep. The sleep is so deep, it allows the Peelo to eat the much larger mammal one incredibly inefficient bite at a time. While it eats, it sings between bites to prevent them from having a chance to waking up. Only slightly larger than a hamster, it takes the Peelo up to a week to eat its preferred tissue from the mammal.
