Every human is said to have a paired Rinka that follows them throughout life. If another human ends another human's life, the Rinka of the deceased is swallowed by the Rinka of the one who ended the others life. Without a Rinka, it is said to be impossible to enter the afterlife, and as a result a ghost is created. Only a handful of people can see them, as they reside primarily on an alternate dimensional plane.
