The Doku Kamisphere's uses its disproportionately large eyes to spot specific species of brightly colored birds in the canopy's above and uses its hairs and a mimicked breathing movement to gain their attention. If a bird takes the bait and tries to attack the Doku, it uses the sacs used to mimic breathing to spit its poison spiny hairs at the bird to blind and kill it to eat. Although revered by the locals, jungle explorers unfamiliar with the species often fall victims mistaking it as harmless.
