First thought to be similar to a species of rabbit, the Sensāusagi are found living in areas with temperatures that can reach 130°F, or 54.5°C, and rely on its otherworldly sense of hearing to accurately map out areas over a square mile around it. It is most often found raised up on its hind legs listening to the environment for food or danger. Though harmless itself, its fur houses a unique spore that is harmless to the Sensāusagi, but is said to accelerate or give other mammals various forms of cancer from repeated exposure and is outlawed from being captured or handled.
